Looking somewhere in the heart of the city to stay that offers well-appointed suites, beautiful garden terraces, and a stunning plant-fill spot to have breakfast each day? Then we suggest the InterContinental Porto. We stayed there last month and found the location to be so handy, as the city surrounds it with so much to do. The staff was extraordinary, the hotel was spotless, and we really loved our room, which was spacious, super clean, and the perfect place to lay your head during a beautiful stay in a truly fantastic city.
We had the pleasure of staying at the InterContinental Lisbon, and not only was it a stay to remember, but the hotel is beautiful, spotless, has truly one of the best staffs of any hotel I’ve stayed at and boasts the most amazing views of Lisbon. If you have the chance, stay here. Read my article 15 Things to do in Lisbon at: https://www.weraddicted.com/15-things-to-do-in-lisbon/
During the last stretch of my solo trip to Japan, money was running tight and I needed a simple place to stay, but that was still centrally located. Hotel Park Side near the Hiroshima Peace Park was the answer to my prayer. Not only was it in a prime location, only a few blocks away from the main attractions like the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome, but the room itself was very clean. The front desk also was so kind to hold my luggage after I had checked out that way I can explore more of the city with less baggage to hold onto. While the room is a bit small, it's the standard size that one would expect to find while traveling in Japan. Overall, if you are looking for cheaper fare with a good central location and decent rooms, then I highly recommend Hotel Park Side.
