My partner and I stayed at the Solmar Resort for 2 nights during our 6 day trip to Cabo. This resort is a 3 star hotel situated right next to the beach (Playa Pedregal). Reasons why you may want to stay here... 1) You want a budget friendly option that's still a beachfront resort 2) You've previously stayed on the Medano Beach side of Cabo and want to experience a different side of the city. 3) You don't want to stay at an all-inclusive hotel. This hotel is equipped with a full kitchen to be used at your disposal. You can opt for their all-inclusive package, but I wouldn't recommend that here because their are better hotels for that (just being honest!). 4) You want a more quiet, relaxed vacation than the more packed hotels like Pueblo Bonito. Overall, I recommend the Solmar Resort for couples or families that want a more relaxed vibe and are looking for a hotel that does not break the bank, but is still a beachfront resort and walkable to the city center at the Marina.
My family (7 of us in total) stayed here during a 4 day trip in Moab, Utah. This was the perfect stay for us for a number of reasons... Location: It's located in Moab, exactly where you want to be if you are exploring nearby Arches and Canyonlands National Park. It's a short walk to the main area of Moab, where you'll find souvenirs and restaurants. Service: The reception was kind enough to not have us pay for our first night there since we arrived at 4 AM! I am very grateful for their understanding! Room: The room was very large and while we probably shouldn't have had 7 of us in there (since the max was 6), it worked for my budget-minded family. 2 people per queen bed and then 3 people on the couch sofa. Cleanliness We stayed here during pandemic times and everything was clean. They had buffet style breakfast (for free) and it was much needed before our strenuous hikes. Overall, I highly recommend the Comfort Suites in Moab!
During my 10 day solo trip in Japan, my first stop was Tokay for 2 nights and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kazusaya. I arrived at 10 AM to the hotel and the staff was gracious enough to hold my luggage for me until I came later that night so I could explore Tokyo with less baggage in my hands. The room size was typical of standard Japanese sizes. Picking a location to stay in Tokyo is overwhelming because there are so many options and neighborhoods, so let me just make it simple for you -- just book this hotel. No location in Tokyo is truly central because there are so many hubs, all you really need is a hotel that is nearby to a train station like this one. If you are simply in need of a hotel that is clean, modern, communicative, and near the train station, then look no further. A bonus is their indoor onsen of which I took full advantage of and is a good gateway into how onsens work!
