During the last stretch of my solo trip to Japan, money was running tight and I needed a simple place to stay, but that was still centrally located. Hotel Park Side near the Hiroshima Peace Park was the answer to my prayer. Not only was it in a prime location, only a few blocks away from the main attractions like the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome, but the room itself was very clean. The front desk also was so kind to hold my luggage after I had checked out that way I can explore more of the city with less baggage to hold onto. While the room is a bit small, it's the standard size that one would expect to find while traveling in Japan. Overall, if you are looking for cheaper fare with a good central location and decent rooms, then I highly recommend Hotel Park Side.
This was our first time at an all inclusive hotel and it was amazing! First off, the view from our balcony on the fourth (highest) floor was absolutely stunning. This hotel is right on Medano beach and you have the picture-perfect view of Lands End, the most iconic section of Cabo San Lucas. The food here was also divine, and honestly, it was the main reason why I picked this hotel above all the others when researching where to stay. What's unique about staying at a Pueblo Bonito hotel is that you have access to the amenities at all of their other sister properties. This means you get to eat at the other restaurants and lounge at other pools. The Pueblo Bonito Rose is right next door and the Sunset location is ~20 minute shuttle ride away. I highly recommend a stay here at the Pubelo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco. This hotel made our first trip to Cabo San Lucas a very special one.
My friend and I stayed here the night before our hike to Big Pine Lakes. While the name of the accommodation says "hotel and hostel," we enjoyed a private two-bed room with a private shower. This hotel is exactly what you need before a big hike -- simply, just a place to stay without any frills. The hotel was about an hour drive to our hike near Lone Pine, but it was way better than the alternative of driving 5 hours from our homes in Los Angeles. I have now stayed here for two times and would recommend it for those who are hiking in the area.
