The lobby looked very beautiful as it was very close to Christmas.
I was expecting a room like the one that was advertised on booking.com but the room was very tired and dated, the bath was chipped and just looked very old and grubby. The room wasn’t cleaned to a high standard, the window had alot of grime on it. And behind the tv cabinet had not been cleaned in forever, so much dirt and dust. The draught in the room was so so bad too so we were freezing. The room wasn’t serviced one day so we came back to the room after a day of being out in the cold to find we had no towels and it hadn’t been cleaned. The breakfast situation was very confusing also . You have to pick from one of the 3 menus they have on offer but it doesn’t state that on the menu .Some staff were not very accommodating or attentive, but there were 2 very nice staff.
Location was within walking distance to favored restaurants and venues that we enjoy.
Valet was terrible! Ordered our car at 10:53A and received it at 12:05P.. The valet ticket advised to call for your vehicle 30 minutes ahead of your desired time. Apparently they texted that it would be 40 minutes instead of the 30 minutes. Everyone was complaining! Very large crowd waiting...
The hotel is clean and well located, with a beautiful lobby and a convenient bar.
When we arrived, the staff informed me that we had been downgraded from a King Superior room to a standard King room. They kindly offered a complimentary voucher for the bar, which we accepted. HOWEVER, the room was SO SMALL and the bed couldn’t have been larger than a full. Very disappointing for two tall people who paid extra for a king sized bed. The room was clean but well worn, and there wasn’t even a mini fridge to put our dinner leftovers in. Bed was so so for comfort, shower took a long time to get warm. Huge disappointment for the money.
The ease of the area- restaurants, trains, TD Garden
Valet wait was well over an hr and .5. Staff was courteous and doing their best. IT's 2025. There should be some sort of text message system involved with valet. People can plan better- you might have more people getting the buffet breakfast. Add more warming stations out side- maybe seating in front the of the grand ball room and def in the area of the valet window. Guests were definitely frustrated.
The location was good for my plans: near a subway stop and the Amtrak train station. Although the room was woefully inadequate, it was quiet and the bed was comfortable.
The room was the smallest and most cramped I have ever been in. I have never been in a Hilton room that was so uncomfortable. It was difficult getting around the bed to the only place where the suitcase stand could fit without hitting your shoulder against the TV sticking out from the wall. Although there was a coffee maker, there was no place to put it to make the coffee.
