Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk

Everything was great.

*Hotel appeared clean, room was a decent size. *That it was right in the middle of everything. *The clear front fridge.

*Room still wasn't ready 2hrs after check in time with no estimate of when it'd be ready. Staff just said they didn't know when it'd be ready. *I did not get room I originally booked, due to mines still not being ready 2hrs in. Staff didn't know when room would be ready. I was supposed to have a view of the riverwalk. *Staff was not helpful, I had to provide suggestions to problem solve issue with room. *Once we get to go to a room(because "I" had to ask if anything else was available like an upgrade or something for the inconvenience...which I didn't get...smh in was more likeva downgrade to a standard room.) The housekeeping staff was standing around on their phones!!!( its like HELLO!!!...you have people waiting to check into rooms and y'all on y'alls phones!) This is part of why rooms weren't ready with no estimate time frame!! That being said I am not too confident of how exactly clean my room was...especially when it comes to the things you can't see with the naked eye. *There was only 1 kleenex in the box in the room. *Coffee pot gave a weird taste. *No microwave in the room. I did not like having to go to the hallway and use the same microwave as everyone else at the time to microwave food. Everyone is not clean!! *No vending machine on room floor. I did not like having to go all the way back downstairs for a quick drink or snack. *Breakfast had to be ordered, you couldn't just go down and eat. *Took days for room charge to be finalized and release held funds! I checked out on a Friday. Funds were still pending that following week. "I am not sure why it takes so long to finalize a transaction!" I have never experienced this delay at other hotels, transaction usually posts in 24hrs! *Downtown STUNK REALLY BAD!!! It was nasty and filthy. I DO NOT! plan on returning to this hotel!

Great location

Bar was closed while we were there. Homeless people outside on the river walk. Very expensive breakfast.

Loved the comfortable beds! Location was perfect to get to all the places on the River Walk we wanted to go.

Hard to find anything that I didn't like.

Location was perfect! 2 minute walk to the Riverwalk and The Alamo!
