I'm a wife, mom and photographer who loves to travel. Couples trips, family trips, trips with friends... You name it! I have a goal to hit all 50 states in the US before I turn 50 years old, but I also want to see the rest of the world.
This was a great way to experience the desert in Utah. We liked that there was plenty to explore on or near the property, but also that we didn't have to set up camp ourselves. There was a restaurant onsite, as well as a pool. Rooms are equipped with fireplaces, luxury bath products, and the showers have hot water. Beds were comfortable and the tent was spacious. A golf cart to take you to your tent with your bags was really helpful, too.
We stayed here for two nights on our recent trip to Cannon Beach. The location was absolutely incredible - we sadly didn't have a room facing Haystack Rock, but our view was gorgeous nonetheless. The room had a separate bedroom, and while there was no air conditioning, there were fans that we were able to use to circulate the air in the room. Between that & keeping the balcony doors and windows cracked open, we were comfortable. The hotel had firewood available to do a bonfire, as well as s'mores kits, which the kids loved. They had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies available daily, there was an indoor heated pool, and it was super pet-friendly if you're looking for that! Tons of hiking and exploring nearby, plus downtown was very cute and walking distance.
