Being a Winnipegger, if you're having a staycation, the Inn at the Forks is a must! Being right at the Forks Market is perfection with a beautiful city view. The walking trails and skating trails are amazing, and there is no shortage of things to do! You can't beat the food and spa at the Inn at the Forks! I've stayed here for a romantic getaway and for a girls weekend, so it's perfect for both!

(Ad) We had the most amazing staycation in our wonderful city! After what has felt like the longest lockdown and extreme cold spell, it was so nice to spend some time outside. * We had a jam packed itinerary which included going to see the @fdvoyageur snow sculptures, tobogganing, having a fire with s’mores, going to @assiniboineparkzoo to see the lights and go to the zoo, enjoying the best local food, and staying in a fantastic kids themed suite at The @victoriainnwinnipeg . If you are looking for a staycation, the Victoria Inn was fabulous! Our room was perfect for our little family, and Mason was obsessed with the astronaut and spaceships on the wall! * This was our first family staycation, and with travel plans at bay due to COVID, this was the perfect little adventure. We were able to have an amazing time while feeling safe with all the COVID protocols in place. I have a highlight called “staycation” if you want to see everything we got up to! This weekend Travis and I did a staycation babymoon in our wonderful city and had the most incredible time! * Before Mase was born, we didn’t go away anywhere or do anything out of the ordinary. And this year with everything that’s been happening, we had zero travel plans. When the opportunity for a staycation came forward, we jumped right on it! (Ad) * Being tourists in our own city was so much fun! We finally made it to the Canadian Museum of Human Rights @cmhr_mcdp and had an amazing dinner and stay at the @fortgarryhotel . Their “Sweet Escapes” package was perfect for a babymoon or any couple looking for a little getaway. * The next morning we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast at the hotel and went to @tenspa to get pampered and let me tell you, this mama needed it! Take me back! We had the most amazing staycation babymoon last weekend with @tourismwinnipeg (Ad) * I love Winnipeg. I truly do. I may not love the winters as much, but this past weekend reminded me of all the amazing places this city has to offer. I’d really love a redo on this weekend. * It started out fabulous with a staycation @deltahotelswinnipeg . We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, walked over to Hargrave St. Market for dinner and drinks, and had the most amazing breakfast in bed. * Taking Mase to see the monster trucks yesterday was a blast. He was living his best life! * Now I’m back to the harsh reality of cold and flu season. The kids are sick again which I cannot even believe. * Makes me appreciate our little staycation even more.
