Married mama of four, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and currently residing in sunny Southwest Florida. Our family loves to explore new places but we also enjoy a staycation and discovering new spots in town to enjoy.
My husband and I stayed at Desert Rose Resort for a short weekend but absolutely loved our experience. The resort is nearby everything and you can easily walk to attractions. We enjoyed the fact that we had a kitchen and could prepare our own meals and although we didn't have time to joy the amenities, we could see the pool area from our room and it looked like everyone was having a great time, they even had a DJ. We had groceries delivered prior to our arrival and the service desk personnel were kind of enough to to hold our items until we arrived. Would definitely be returning next time we are in Vegas.
We have stayed at Lake Buena Vista resort in two different occasions & enjoyed both times. Our kids loved the pirate ship pool. In fact, the reason we returned a second time is because one of our sons, who wasn't able to get on the waterslide due to height, asked us to stay there so he could finally get on it. I love the proximity to stores, restaurants & the Disney Parks including Disney Springs & the property also has awesome amenities: two pools, Irish Pub restaurant & Pizza Hut on premises, an arcade room, spa & a concession store. Now, as for the rooms they are extremely outdated. The furniture is so old that the dining room chairs didn't have any cushion and they were so uncomfortable to sit on.The rugs were also very old & not as clean as we would have liked them to be. We did stay in a unit that we could see the fireworks from Disney & it was awesome, the kids absolutely loved it. Overall, it was a good stay & my favorite thing was definitely the proximity to everything
