This was our 3rd or 4th cruise on Norwegian, and, once again, it did not disappoint! From the expertly crafted drinks to the diverse array of dining options and top-notch entertainment, every aspect of our cruise was truly exceptional. One of our favorite experiences was spending time at the bars on the outdoor decks located on the lower levels of the ships. The ambiance here is unique, as not all cruise lines offer delightful bars in such scenic areas. Additionally, the ability to dine at O'Sheehan's truly enhanced our experience, especially since other cruise lines often charge for food at their sports bars. Skylar loved being able to indulge in wings for free almost any time of day! For those eager to elevate their dining experience, we wholeheartedly recommend Cagney’s for a delectable steak and the Brazilian steakhouse for its fantastic salad bar—a culinary adventure not to be missed!
Apr 2025This was our first ever cruise with MSC, and it definitely turned out to be an adventure worth taking. Although we had come across quite a few negative reviews during our research, we decided to give the cruise line a try, and we're glad we did! We noticed several differences when compared to our prior cruise experiences, but overall, we still had an incredibly enjoyable time. One of the highlights for us was the ship's modern design, particularly the breathtaking massive LED ceiling in the promenade, which truly added a unique touch to our journey. While we found that the food wasn't quite up to par with other cruise lines we have previously experienced, we never went hungry; there was always something to satisfy our cravings (especially the pizza). Additionally, we really appreciated the entertainment options available. While the cruise wasn't without its flaws, the overall experience far exceeded the affordable price we paid for the trip, making it a memorable getaway!
Apr 2025The MSC Seaside boasts an impressive array of itineraries that whisk travelers away to the stunning Bahamas, vibrant Caribbean, and enchanting Mediterranean regions. These options range from quick getaways of just 3 nights to extended voyages of up to 20 nights, catering to every type of traveler. During our experience aboard, we noted that this ship shares several characteristics with its sister ships, the Seashore and Seascape, from elegant interiors to numerous dining options. However, it has a standout feature—the zipline that offers guests the unique opportunity to soar above the bustling main pool deck. This adds an adrenaline rush to the leisurely atmosphere, making it a truly unforgettable experience on the water.
Apr 2025We stayed here prior to boarding a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades). Our room had a wrap around balcony with a gorgeous view of the beach. We loved that it was a very short walk from the beach as well as a ton of places to shop, eat and grab a drink. But if you don't want to leave the property, you don't have to because it has an onsite restaurant and bar and a pool. Tip: Parking in this area of Fort Lauderdale Beach is often not included in hotel rates and is quite pricey, so if you are flying in from out of town, we recommend researching parking costs before deciding to rent a car vs using Uber/Lyft/etc.
