We cruised on this ship out of Miami in October 2025. It was our first experience on a Royal Caribbean mega ship. We were impressed with the different "neighborhoods" onboard, as well as the complimentary shows and activities. Our favorites were the Central Park area filled with plants, the Intense aqua show, Flowrider and rock climbing wall. While the Wonder did offer quite a variety of complimentary dining options, from our experience, if you want great food, you may want to consider paying the upcharge for the specialty dining restaurants. Even though we weren't huge fans of the complimentary food, the service was excellent. We had a blast onboard and would consider cruising on this ship again. Recently it repositioned to Miami and is running shorter itineraries to the Bahamas. If you want to explore the different neighborhoods and see what it is like cruising on this ship be sure to watch the video linked to this review & tune in next week for part two!
Oct 2025We cruised on the stunning, brand new Norwegian Aqua in April of 2025, and I must say, the name Aqua suits this beautiful ship perfectly! The vessel provides breathtaking views of the water from every angle - the front, back, and sides - allowing guests to immerse themselves in the serene beauty of the ocean without the need to book exclusive spaces like the Haven or Vibe Beach Club. We enjoyed soaking in the panoramic views from the Observation Lounge located at the front of the ship, sipping cocktails at the Soleil Bar at the aft and floating in the infinity pools on the sides of the ship. Despite encountering a few quirks on this brand new ship, the positives outweighed the negatives. We do have to mention Indulge Food Hall. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, you must try some of the dishes! We loved the convenience of the smart tablets utilized for ordering throughout the food hall and many bars. This innovative feature ensured that we never had to wait in line for food or drinks!
May 2025The MSC World America is world's newest cruise ship and we had the incredible opportunity to be part of its inaugural sailing. Having previously sailed on five other MSC ships, we can confidently say that this was our best experience with MSC, outside of our time in the Yacht Club. The atmosphere onboard was enhanced by the staff's friendliness, the service was quick and the food was improved from our prior sailings. The complimentary activities available for kids and families were impressive. Among the highlights is undoubtedly the Cliffhanger, an exhilarating ride as the first overwater swing at sea. Although there is a modest $5 fee, we believe it’s absolutely worth the small upcharge for that adrenaline rush. In our video, we provide a detailed tour of the entire ship, floor by floor, showcasing all it has to offer. Tip: take advantage of the small balconies at the back of the ship; they are accessible from decks with staterooms and provide stunning views without the usual crowd.
May 2025We stayed here for a night when visiting St. Pete Beach. We absolutely loved the location. Their property is right on the beach and the grounds are very beautiful. They have an onsite restaurant and bar right on the beach, we enjoyed listening to live music while enjoying the sunset there. This property is also within walking distance to other establishments right on the beach. Parking can often be quite pricey on St. Pete Beach, so we appreciated that we were able to park our car in the lot prior to our room being ready the day we arrived as well as for a while after we checked out the day we left. Our room was clean and modern. We would definitely consider staying here again.
Feb 2026We stayed here one night when we were visiting Lake Placid. It was clean and overlooked the race track. While they do have an onsite bar and restaurant we preferred to eat and drink in Lake Placid as there were many great options to choose from. The rooms we stayed in definitely had a car racing theme from the artwork, to the hooks on the wall and even the faucet in the bathroom. We would stay here again when we find ourselves in this area of Florida.
Feb 2026We stayed here for a night prior to boarding a cruise out of Miami. We loved that the parking was free and it had a complimentary coffee machine as well as breakfast. It was only about a 15 minute drive from downtown Miami and it was very close to the airport. I believe it offers a free shuttle to and from the airport for those flying in. There is a heated pool and gym on the property and it is right on a lagoon. Our room was clean and spacious - we would consider staying here again.
Oct 2025We recently booked with Encounters with Dolphins on a quick getaway to Clearwater Beach. We had a perfect day to be out on the water and we really appreciated that the boat was fully covered and even had a marine toilet on board. During our tour we went out in the Gulf searching for dolphins and stopped at a very tiny island. We had about 20 minutes or so to walk around the island, swim and look for shells. Our tour guides were so knowledgeable about the area and the local marine life and they were more than willing to answer any of our questions. Overall this experience did not disappoint, our guides spotted a manatee as well as several dolphins (including babies).
Sep 2025Our first parasailing experience in Key West was incredible! Even though you are only in the air for a few minutes, it feels like much longer. The staff were entertaining and really made sure we all had a good time. We would highly recommend this excursion for a little thrill and to see incredible views of Key West.
Aug 2025We found the Paddle Hut because we planned to eat at Geiger Key Marina Fish Camp and it just so happens to be next door (on the same property). We decided to stop by for lunch and then rent a kayak right after. We loved being able to get some exercise after eating a meal. While we enjoyed paddling through some of the mangroves, we would consider booking a tour if we went back as the guides know where to find the wildlife and can point out things visitors to the area would miss.
