We had a fantastic time at the Garden of the Gods resort in Colorado Springs. Our room was beautiful with a great fireplace and the most incredible views of Garden of the Gods and the Rocky Mountains, including Pikes peak. Highly recommend the upgraded mountain front room. It will not disappoint. I am obsessed with the views from the resort pool! Staff was very friendly. There are a couple restaurants onsite but we spent our time exploring the restaurants in the city. A rental car is a must for this resort. There is a large housing development surrounding the resort and no restaurants or stores in walking distance. However, the resort location is a perfect starting point to explore Colorado Springs.

This was our first time staying at an Excellence resort and we really enjoyed it. The grounds, pools and beach are great. The service was also very good. The resort staff work so hard. The only drawback was the main pool. It was always really crowded. We are more beach people so it didn't really affect us as we spent almost all of our days at the beach. The beach is great for long walks. The water was clear and calm while we were there. We stayed in the two-story rooftop terrace suite. It was huge and beautiful. We could see the whole resort and the ocean from the rooftop terrace and the plunge pool was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed in the newly renovated East Bay Beachfront Club level room. It was beautiful and spacious. The view from the room is incredible. You can see all the way to the private island. There are multiple pools, the quieter being on the East Bay side and the activity pool on the West. As always with Sandals resorts the service, food and drinks were great. Our favorite part of this resort was the private island. The beaches and secluded areas are perfect for couples looking for alone time. The restaurant is also very nice. This was our sixth Sandals resort and we would definitely return!
