We have now had three fantastic cruises with Virgin Voyages, and enjoyed them so much we have booked two more. Great food, great entertainment. There's parties if you want them, but it's absolutely not a party ship. We're in bed by 10pm most nights, and can always find quite parts of the ship to relax. Highly recommend booking a Rockstar suite if your budget can stretch to it.

Jul 2025We had a really great time on Jewel of the Seas; our first cruise with Royal Caribbean. We managed a cheap suite upgrade that really elevated the experience, and would recommend this if your budget can stretch to it. Good facilities for families, a good gym. Bars were nice, but drinks are expensive. We mainly took advantage of the free drinks that came with the suite. Food was nothing too fancy (aside from the expensive specialty restaurants), but a great selection in the buffet.
Jul 2025Had a really great stay here. Fantastic location, lots in walkable distance, great views of the Empire State Building from the room, rooftop pool, and terrace. Decent gym, but difficult to get equipment when busy. Worth noting as well that pool loungers need to be reserved even for hotel guests.
Sep 2025This may sound uncultured, but this was easily one of the highlights of our recent Japan trip. Such a fun time that we came back a second day. Great rides, the Nintendo land is amazing and something you have to experience if you've grown up with Mario games. Very highly recommended. Tickets are great value too!
