I stayed for one night on the Business Plus floor. The room was a nice size and well equipped. There was a minibar, a kettle, coffee and tea, a safe and toiletries. My room faced the golf course and, as it was open for quite a while in the evening, the floodlights shone right on it. You definitely need thick blackout curtains! Luckily, there were some in the room. There is a wide selection at breakfast. The hotel also offers many other services, such as a laundry service and a vending machine for last-minute needs.

The family-run Hotel Knorre is situated on the banks of the River Elbe, just 2 kilometres north of Meissen. The rooms are a good size and have good facilities. There is also a restaurant which is open in good weather. Free parking is available in front of the hotel.
