I liked the hotel decor. The rooms were clean and staff was nice.
We left a day early, we were going to stay 3 nights but only stayed two. It was so hot in our room that we were sweating just sitting there. They had a window air conditioner in our room plus a small fan. If you left our room and walked into the hall it was at least 20 degrees cooler. On our second day there was a room that was just cleaned and the door was propped open and we went in there and couldn't believe how cool that one was. It didn't even have an air conditioner in there. I am sure the person who cleans that room knew how hot it was. They shouldn't have people staying that in that room with the weather as hot as it is.
I liked the Victorian architecture and decorations. Very quaint. This hotel is not your run of the mill place to stay with its nooks and crannies, and it put us in reach of Amish Country which is why we stopped in Millersburg.
There were a few challenging stairs; the front desk was not run efficiently, and we had a bit of confusion trying to check in.
The hotel was excellent. Great food and staff
The property had nothing wrong
There was no breakfast in or near the hotel. We looked .
Not for physically challenged people or C-PAP users . No on street or safe accessible parking. The building really shows its age. Dimly lit hall with unexpected steps and a steep ramp. Wobbly antique bedside table was unusable. Sleep poor: rock hard foam pillows & no in-room temp control = first too cold then warm, Insufficient fire sprinklers in a rundown structure. Definitely won’t recommend or return
Great location for wedding we attended. Staff was very nice
