Not really anything tbh. Atleast it was In a Decent area but lot of strange activity going on out side.
It was dirty No towels No refrigerator or microwave Ac didn’t work No comforter only a sheet
There's nothing to like about it
The place is terrible. There are no towels, no trash bin. The room smells horrible. There are people using drugs in the hallway. Booking should remove this place from your list. The compliment shampoo was used.
Good stagg
Nothings
the bed was clean that was about it.
The room looked run down, but the bathroom had bugs. I would not book this place as most people who are booked, don't seem to be all there.
Anything that shares a parking lot with a Walmart is a bad sign but of course they're not going to promote this. This places has just as many drug dealers living in and around it as it does roaches. Cigarette burns in the blankets and blinds that are halfway put up in the windows that don't fit the windows themselves. No additional toilet paper other then the half a roll they provide along with a small hand towel to dry off with in the bathroom.
The Crackheads tweaking at 1am, random people going in and out of other occupations room, broken tiles on ceiling along with a damp water smell mixed with steal cigarettes. The burns in the bedding and the non working locks on the doors.
It had good parking and the location was good for the event I was attending. It was very close to the Walmart which was super convinient if we needed necessities. The staff were friendly and helpful when our first room wasn't ready. The room was a decent size and had functional air conditioning for the hot days there. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience with exception to a few things that we experienced which I will outline below.
Broken chair next to the desk (when you sat on it, it would nearly fall over because of a bad wheel), missing trashcan (nowhere to throw away the garbage so we had to walk it outside a few times), sink kept filling up with water when used to wash our hands or brush our teeth (not sure why this was happening, maybe plumbing is bad), holes/stains in the bedding (could just need replacing. they looked pretty aged from wear and tear), broken toilet paper roll holder (tp was on the back part of the toilet which is honestly fine, the wall itself looked a bit rough though), missing microwave turn table (made it challenging to use the microwave but we made due without) and some really noisy people in the parking lot kept waking us at night but otherwise we were able to tolerate it.
Location
I have had to stay in this area many times for work. Over the years, I have stayed at this Red Roof Inn several times. The motel started out really nice. The facilities and grounds were clean. The rooms were clean and had decent amenities. In the past year, this place has become an absolute dump. The staff are hit and miss friendly. Often times, they’re sleeping in the lobby and get upset if you wake them. The facilities are run down with many things not working. For example, I stayed in Room 150. The paint was peeled off the front door. The back of the air conditioner cover was sitting on the sidewalk. When I went into the room, it smelled like marijuana and cigarette smoke. The desk was filthy -with dried food on it. The sheets were clean and crisp, but the bedspread had stains and dried food on it. The sink took 5 minutes to drain if I ran water long enough to wash my hands. The motel now allows people to stay there long term. The woman who lives in 148 did drug meets all night. How do I know? The walls are thin, so I could hear the conversations as they came in and out every 15 minutes from 8 pm to 4 am. Ants. As I mentioned, the back of the AC cover was off, ants were coming into the room through the openings. I didn’t have open food or drink, so I don’t want to think about it would be like if I had. I have stayed here to save money at times. But when comparing their price to other hotels in the area that are significantly better, I only saved $3 per night. I hope that their management reads this. It’s very sad how run down this once family friendly place has become.
