Hotel Ermitage

Great location and comfortable accommodations. Not all amenities listed were offered, but it was fine. Hotel is near many cafés, restaurants, shopping. Be prepared for climbing!

Lack of communication after a small incident with one of the rooms. I would have appreciated an answer to my phone call and booking.com message. Check in and check out were pretty easy.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Extremely noisy room, the fridge was SO noisy we struggled to sleep (had to sleep with noise cancelling headphones). The room was SUPER hot (in April!), it felt like they had the heater at the maximum, but we couldn't reduce the temperature. There was AC, but also super noisy. Also, there was no one at the counter to check in, the key was there in an envelope, we had a question about parking so we called the number showed at the counter, no one answered (we called around 10 times in the span of two hours). Really disappointing experience and I would not recommend it.

No frontdesk. We slept for 3 nights with no AC. The FD promised someone is going to fix it but no one came.

The front room had a broken window(external). The A/C unit was really loud. The phone directory is messed up, selecting English option still connected to French. We were happy to see a staff when we did. As the main staff is located across the street at another hotel, perhaps a direction to go to that hotel for assistance would be beneficial to the guests

The location was good.

The shower was moldy, the floors of the room were dirty the window was broken and generally the maintenance of the hotel was very poor. The room didn’t match the photos on the hotel website.
