the building was victorian with amazing woodwork and design of the floor plan, pocket doors, ornate stairway, stained glass windows. the caretaker met us at our car, showed us how to use the electronic door security, gave us a history lesson on the building and told us how to contact us if a problem arose. (non did) he also carried our suitcases up to our room on the second floor. this was greatly appreciated because we are in our seventies and the ceilings are high causing more stairs to climb.
because this is an old building the electric outlets were few and far between requiring extension cords. this could be improved on.
Breakfast was great had plenty to choose from
They need to change their online listings to show thier is 3 places to smoke
The house itself is beautiful and I love the architecture and decoration. Ample parking on the side of the house.
There's was no one to greet us and no host at all to be seen during our stay. The room is a bit rundown and the bed too soft and bouncy for our taste. I expected more for the breakfast: there were bagels, bread, cereal boxes, and we could help ourselves in the fridge (milk, cream cheese, hard boiled eggs). It was not the experience I expect from a bed&breakfast.

Nice proprietor. Close to scenic river. In the hub of a quaint town. "Porch Fest" was a nice surprise--live music on quite a number of porches of businesses. Screened in balcony was pleasant.
Breakfast was adequate.
Charming inn, wonderful wood floor and paneling throughout. Lovely front porch.
I think a good country breakfast would have really finished off this stay nicely.
