Our room is perfect. Couldn't ask for more. The host is a terrific guy ready to help with any needs. More than happy.

Great breakfast options, very quiet and private, walking distance to local cafes, restaurants and the bay. Knowledgable, attentive and helpful host. Great pod coffee maker.

One pillow was uncomfortable but this was no problem as there were others to choose from.

We loved this B&B, Jon was a great host, friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for us including giving us a lift into town for our evening meal because it was raining. Our room looked out onto the garden at the back, the bed was extremely comfortable and the house and garden are absolutely beautiful and full of character. Breakfast was DIY with lots of choice and a chance to meet other guests. Wine and beer are in the fridge and available to buy at a reasonable price. Jon has put a lot of thought into the detail of this place and it makes for a very pleasant stay. We loved our brief stay at the Torquay and hope to return one day. Attentive host ensuring that we had all we needed plus excellent breakfast setup. Handy location for accessing local restaurants and shops. Offered an upgrade and enjoyed the balcony and jacuzzi bath in the room.

Jon was an excellent host. We arrived much later than planned and he stayed up to let us in. He checked in on us while we were there as well which was nice. It was great to have breakfast ready each morning.

The room was small, but fit our needs just fine.
