Breakfast was served in a big cavernous room, but we were the only ones there. A more compact space would have felt better.
We liked the location, close to the event we were attending. We liked some of the staffs like Larry at breakfast and Erica at the front desk. Housekeeping too but I didn't get their names.
The price, it was too much for that room. It wasn't worth $500 at all. They inflated it for that weekend. The bathroom toilet bowl was not cleaned well, there were visible stains. We didn't like a front desk staff when we arrived. When we asked a question her answers were very curt, didn't offer any help and at one point was rude.
Location was great - and the staff was very friendly.
The history and the trails & the breakfast and the breakfast staff man
The TV and the bed could be firmer
VERY nice staff
A little dated
Breakfast was tasty, especially the eggs. The view from the dining/breakfast room is spectacular and made breakfast extra special! The bed was very comfortable.
I would have liked to drink my coffee from an actual ceramic mug instead of a throwaway cup. Also, the room was very small and we could have used another chair.
It’s away from the main road which makes it very quiet overnight. Decent breakfast - waffle maker, bacon, fresh fruit, etc. Easy ten minute drive to SUNY Bing.
The room phone needs better instructions on how to reach the front desk. I could not reach a live person, just voicemails. There were no in-room instructions for the television and I couldn’t access local channels for morning news.
