Location and staff
Mold in the shower and furniture and carpet showing some age. Food servers were good but food was not consistent and menu descriptions not always accurate.
Outstanding location with view across the Atlantic
Some ongoing construction work
The staff was outstanding friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Nikko, our awesome server at the restaurant, and the office professionals were standouts. And Trouble the Bartender took service and creativity to a new level! Outstanding!! The facilities were also lovely and the view was stunning. Our suite was well-appointed and would be perfect for a longer family stay. Next time!
Not unlike most restaurants in Bermuda, the food was quite pricey. Still, it was fresh and delicious.
Large rooms
They promised a refund based on their hurricane policy but they didnt.
We loved that it was centrally located, private and safe.
It's advertised as a boutique hotel and it is far from hotel. It is a condo/timeshare compound where rooms are rented, more like an AirBNB. There were no services similar to what a full service hotel provides. We were there during Hurricane Lee and while I understand there are things that cannot be helped, but they were without power for a day and as a result, the pool and restaurant were closed. This required my husband and I to have to venture off property. If this was a full service hotel, loss of power would not have been an issue and there would have been no disruption to hotel guests. There was no attempt to assist to rectify the issue, a restaurant credit or even a credit on our bill would have been nice. A little goes a long way. Instead I received an email after I returned home that a restaurant bill was not charged on my final bill so therefore they are charging the card on file. My husband and I travel to Bermuda once a year, but I can safely say we will not be return visitors to this location.
It was a resort without the hustle and bustle. It was relaxing and while staff were attentive, they gave you space. All the staff were friendly and happy to have a conversation or share info about Bermuda!
The establishment said they had transportation for local trips, but you always had to call a taxi or take the bus.
