Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Gainesville

I wasn't greeted walking in. I was looked at like I was interrupting her from something. Then she had to leave to check if any rooms were available even though it was a reservation. Honestly I've had better experiences at motel 8. I just didn't want to put my kid in one.

The furniture in our room was broken/wobbly. Varnish was peeling off the nightstand. The bathroom leaked something bad. It just wasn't what I was expecting from a Marriott.

The road leading to the hotel had a horrible bump, needs some road repair, The tub faucet was loose, it would actually drift to make it hotter..rm203

Pool was cold for my girls. They didn’t stay in it long because it was so cold

The pull out couch was very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Our room was overall very poor. There were broken tiles in the bathroom floor, a very poorly ‘fixed’ step in the shower that actually fell off while the shower was in use. There was evidence of a leak/broken part of the wall above the door in the bathroom. Paint splatters all around the bathroom. And overall a slight smell of urine in the bathroom and poor smell as soon as we entered the room. Very dissatisfying.
