The Tillary Hotel Brooklyn

Room and bed was as in the pictures, of course they always look better in the photos but overall it was what I expected. They have a nice outdoor space that we only found out in the last day, like the gym also. Because on check in , nobody gave us any information about the hotel.

The reception was the most dissapointing part, it looked super nice in the photos, but It is really not that good looking in real life. Also almost no options for breakfast, the coffee machine had a problem every day, and overall employers had just this " i dont really care about this" vibe but they still got the job done.

The hotel was clean and quiet, and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. There breakfast was meager, with some pastries and cereal options.

The hotel and the room was spotless (at least what we could see). The room was clean and there was nothing wrong with the room (beside the strange sliding mirror that opens up from the room to the bathroom itself....no idea who had that idea, but it is at leas funny and strange in the same time). The neighborhood was nice and safe even at night which made the hotel a perfect place to start and end your day to explore the New York area as it is also very easy to reach Manhattan or other areas (metro stations are at maximum 15 minutes of slow walking). As a bonus, the hotel helped us store our luggage from when we arrived in the morning till late night in a good and organized way (with tags, not just storing it) that made us feel that our luggage was safe as we explored the city.

The covering sheets are not on my taste (I name this type of covering sheets as sandwich sheets) that are annoying and also not the best fabric to be made of, but beside this, there is nothing else to mention as bad.

Air Conditioner was not working over multiple days and we were not relocated to another room

Would never come back. It is a motel that cost me almost $500 per night

Staff, management, facilities, all around. Avoid it at all costs
