The Mirage is an iconic part of the Las Vegas strip and has been since it opened in 1989. The lush gardens, waterfalls, and volcano show are Las Vegas staples, so it is a shame that they will be gone forever in a matter of weeks (It will be turned into a Hard Rock Hotel). This was my first and unfortunately last stay at this iconic resort. I cannot say enough good things about this property. The food, the service, and the design of this hotel were all great. I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice I felt this bathroom in our room was for this price point. The only downfall of this resort was that our room felt worn. I would not say it was particularly dated, but there were many signs of past guests including scratches, dents, and scuffs. I am extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful resort before it is gone forever.
