PortlandStaff I inquired about an upgrade to include the parking fee and breakfast and was upgraded alright, included a room with a balcony overlooking Old Port, ME at no extra charge!
Excellent location to walk to great restaurants and local shops. The whisky bar lounge is a lovely spot to relax.
The hottub in the spa facility was not working for our stay.
Location was good and staff really helpful and friendly
The air conditioning unit and fridge were both noisy. Restaurant was pricey
Room was fine
Everything else, terrible, disinterested staff, old outdated lobby, walls, carpet, gym wasnt open and Id expect it from an expensive hotel like this, not enough hot water in the lobby our entire stay, water wasnt even hot for tea, completely overpriced for this old place with bad service. This review is not about old Portland though, the location was amazing and the old city is completely worth visiting!
Very pretty hotel and very comfortable beds.
Had to lay extra for parking
