When cleaning lady was requested for second day, she didn’t clean well. Even left dirty coffee cups
Only second day cleaning service
Beautiful location and hotel. Definitely will revisit Portland and stay at this hotel. Exceptional experience
I love the location and friendly staff.. very accommodating.. tasty food I have been staying here every time I visit Maine and fly out of Portland. This is my go to place to stay coming and going for the last four years.
*Fantastic staff in ALL areas.. reception and breakfast staff were exceptional..Isaac, Briana, AJ, Margaret and Johnny. *Breakfast..attention to detail and remembering guest preferences. *Wonderful old building (once an armoury) and the historic ambience of dining, lounge and bar areas. * Restful and noise-free rooms, great for sleeping. * Genuine caring that each guest was looked after like family.

Beds, bathroom, heating/cooling not operational - loud. Staff other then valet (rude) not explanatory on rooms, amenities or helpful. Restaurants (misleading) call ahead to make sure they did not decide to have you eat outside while it's misting or raining. I've stayed in many places for work, I treated myself to this one. Not Worth It! Very unhappy.
Centrally located, within walking distance to many shops restaurants and bars.
The location was great.
Didn’t like the room selection downstairs and the far corner. Had to walk alot to get to exits and upstairs area
