This is a great hotel option in Sokcho, located right on the harbour and within walking distance of downtown. After the energy of busy Seoul, we really appreciated being a bit more tucked away. The hotel was clean, the breakfast area had beautiful ocean views, and there was even a convenience store on-site for late-night snacks. Would definitely recommend.
Apr 2026This was the last stop of our trip before we went home, and we felt very grateful. Every room has an ocean view. Amenities include: infinity pool (indoor and out), fitness centre, two restaurants, courtyard, complimentary drinks and snacks in the lounge, Dyson hair tools, and a very comfortable bed. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and kind. This is the kind of place you could stay at all day and have a great vacation!
Apr 2026We were recommended this catamaran cruise from our local stay host as a 'must-do' experience while in Funchal and it did not disappoint! We were able to see pilot whales and spotted dolphins. They head out twice a day (10:30a.m. & 3:30p.m.). I suggest checking the weather on the day or even the night before booking, as the weather in Madeira can change very quickly! The guides were awesome, constantly on the lookout for wildlife. After each sighting, they would come around and tell us about the species. They even stopped to pick up any litter they found in the ocean! Drinks available on board so you can enjoy some Poncha while watching the dolphins.
