Lovely, quiet, and relaxing spot along California's beautiful coast. I love how dog-friendly this hotel is! Our room had a breath-taking view of the ocean and could hear the waves since we were so close. There's one restaurant on site. It's a short drive to Monterey for more food and exploring.

The newest addition to the historic and well-known Hotel Del Coronado is the Shore House. I stayed with my husband and little maltese/yorkie (love that it's dog friendly!) for 6 nights in September 2023. We had the BEST time! The hotel and rooms are absolutely gorgeous! It felt like a relaxing home away from home because the room was equipped with a beautiful full kitchen (we stored our pizza box in the fridge!) and a washer and dryer. Our room had a view of the ocean which we enjoyed from the little outside courtyard. It's steps away from an exclusive Shore House pool and cafe and not to mention the beach. It's also a part of the Hotel Del Coronado, so you can stroll over to all the amenities - restaurants, stores, museum, and more that the Del has to offer. We even walked to downtown Coronado several times. They offer valet services or you can self-park (heads up, the lot is on the opposite side of the grounds from the Shore House). I would say it's my favorite hotel ever!
