We stayed at The Henry while visiting Dearborn and Detroit to see The Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village Historical Park, Henry Ford's Mansion, Ford Factory Tour, and much more. The hotel was very nice. My only complaint was the view of the unity roof from our room. The lounge and restaurant are very elegant. We enjoyed eating and having cocktails at the bar. The room was large, clean, and the beds were comfortable. My only regret was leaving the hotel for another Marriott in Downtown Detroit. I would have much rather stayed at The Henry and just gone into the city for the day.

We spent Thanksgiving week and dinner at this hotel. It was amazing and the food was out of this world. The view from this hotel is so relaxing. It sits on the channel and looks directly at Carrot Island. Where wild horses roam and you will see them come to the water edges where you can take wonderful pictures. Thanksgiving dinner was great and we met many locals who spent their Thanksgiving Dinner at the Beaufort Hotel.

Malibu is tucked away about 30 miles west of Downtown Los Angeles. It is known for its strip of beaches stretching 21 miles along the Pacific Ocean and its celebrity homes. I was recently in Malibu for a quick family visit. I had certain things on my bucket list during my 48 hours in town. Topping my list was the Getty Villa, taking long walks on the beaches and eating my weight in seafood. While there I found the perfect place to stay. The Malibu Country Inn. I chose this hotel for it location and price. When we arrived we were treated to a surprising view from our patio. My sister and I found it so relaxing to sit on our patio, watch the sunset over the ocean, while drinking wine. The next morning we simply walked a short distance to the beach. Where we found surfers, artists painting, and wildlife breaching the sea's surface. After our walk, we have a wonderful breakfast at the Sunset Cafe on the beach. The hotel is clean, updated, and quite. Highly recommend.
