The Frankfurt Marriott Hotel is conveniently located next to Terminal 1, directly on the Frankfurt International Airport. The hotel is co-located with her sister property, the Sheraton. The hotel is also directly connected by a walkway to Terminal 1 parking and rental car return. The branded scent Is strong as you approach the hotel entrance and I have to say, it’s one of my favorites of all the branded hotel scents. The lobby is very nicely decorated, with lots of comfortable seating, a restaurant, and an absolutely beautiful bar. The front desk staff greeted me with a smile and quickly got me upgraded to the club level and nicer room, all benefits of being a loyal Marriott Elite member. The club level is at the top of the hotel and is staffed with a dedicated agent to help Elite customers with check out or other needs. The club is central to the rooms on this floor, just a short walk from every room. The club itself is well set up with an outdoor terrace, for fair weather days. The food isn’t plentiful but what they have is of fairly descent quality. They also have complimentary wine and beer. The wine wasn’t bad at all. My room was modern, bright, and comfortable. The bathroom was huge, for a European bathroom. The shower had an overhead rain shower head and wand. There was a nice couch with table in addition to the desk, which is nice, so you aren’t stuck doing work only at the desk. The view from my room, 9233, was non-existent, but I was only there for a short night. The hotel deserves 5 stars, and I will be rating it as such.
