Here's a tour of the most romantic, whimsical and unique boutique hotel in the Romantic Zone in Puerto Vallarta - the Rivera del Rio hotel. It's tucked away close to the river, so it's quiet, but only a few minutes walking distance to the Malecon and the beach. This hotel has one of the best heated infinity pools in all of Puerto Vallarta, with 360 degree views of the ocean, city and mountains. Our private balcony overlooked the river! And this hotel is dog friendly! You're right across from the river park, or there's a dog park less than a 5 minute walk away. This is a small boutique hotel, and a great alternative to the larger resorts, if you're looking to stay somewhere authentic in Puerto Vallarta. There are only 20 rooms, of which 11 were recently added in 2022, so it's nice and modern.
