🌻New Blog🌻 Middleton Place is a gorgeous antebellum plantation located in Charleston, SC, and is a must for any visit there! This 110-acre property features America's oldest landscaped gardens, which were inspired by those at the Palace of Versailles! Plus, there's a working stableyard with tons of farm animals like Belgian horses, gulf coast sheep, and water buffalo! (See pics!➡️) There's also a fascinating house museum and a gorgeous inn you can stay at. But one of my favorite parts was the wildlife! We saw a great blue heron that let us walk within 10 feet of it without flinching (see pic), ibises, an egret, and several alligators!
