Nice room
Up charge to get a room with a view Thought I already had one?
It was friendly
When it was time to check out only one elevator was working the others was down. It had been raining badly and we saw some cars in the parking garage under water. And they had mop buckets in the lobby catching rain water. I went to take a shower and the shower head was spraying out water it needed tightened up. I tryed the best as I could. So I can take me a shower.
Loved the location. The pool and cabana were super nice. Our room had a special gift for our dog when we arrived which made the dog fee a little bit easier to accept.
Our room had mold on the ceiling in several places. I showed the pics to the front desk when we checked out. Not sure they did anything about it. They just said they never see that stuff so it's good when people let them know. I would think housekeeping would report it but I guess not. The mattress was terrible and springy so we didn't sleep well at all. Every move had us thinking a spring was about to pop thru. We still had to pay $15/day for parking even though we parked outside across the street from the hotel. The day we left, only 1 elevator was working (for 16 floors). I called the front desk to let them know and they said they were not aware and I was the 1st person to report it. It was a nightmare getting from the 6th floor down the stairs with all of our stuff, in a wagon, pouring rain. If the resort had a major emergency, I believe it would be mass chaos. Emergency plan needs to be evaluated and corrected immediately!!
Great location. Great pool.
This place is a resort. But there is nowhere you can sit and enjoy a fine cigar as compared to resort properties around the country. No smoking at the pool in the open air, but there were people vaping. That didn't seem to be an issue. The pillows were hard as a rock and beds were not comfortable at all. If you like hardness then you will like it. This place is way too expensive, if you're going for the pool get a cheaper hotel. There are many to choose from. End.
