Perched atop Napa Valley, the Carneros Resort and Spa features 2 outdoor pools, 3 full-service gourmet restaurants and an award-winning spa. A furnished patio and bathrobes are provided in each suite or cottage. An outdoor dining area, free WiFi and a flat-screen TV is provided in each suite or cottage. Linens, a built-in entertainment system, and a coffee machine are also provided in each spacious suite. An outdoor shower and heated tile floors are featured in the private bathroom. Suites and multiple room cottages are offered. A hilltop, adult-only outdoor pool, 3,000-square-foot fitness center and boccie ball courts are featured at the Carneros Resort and Spa. Padded lounge chairs surround all 3 outdoor pools. Free bicycles are provided for guests to use on the self-contained grounds. Featuring views of Napa Valley and outdoor patio dining, the Hilltop Dining Room serves breakfast and lunch daily. The Boon Fly Café and the Farm restaurants are also featured. The gourmet, Market and local store is onsite as well. Buena Vista Winery, Viansa Winery, Cline Cellars and other Napa Valley wineries are within 12 minutes’ drive of the Carneros Resort and Spa. Relaxing/cute property, but management could do a better job on service and maintenance of the rooms
Very relaxing environment and cute small cottage layout. Felt private and safe, with nice visual design of the cottages and of the grounds.
There were numerous small maintenance issues with the cottage. It was hard to open the door, a window wouldn't open, the phone cord was tangled, a light bulb in bathroom was strongly flickering and the tea pot was slimy inside. I think this hotel could do a better job on service and maintenance of the cottages. For the price, quality of maintenance of the room was below expectation. The comments of the issues above were in the second room we were put into. The first room's glass door to the patio had bent hinges and wouldn't completely close and latch. So because both rooms had issues, I assume it is a more general issue at this property.

view from hilltop pool was beautiful, spacious and comfortable room, planting throughout the property and its grounds was gorgeous, SPF available at the pool, comfortable sun loungers
My patio area furniture was all covered with rain covers (it has been sunny for weeks). no one thought to remove and prep the outside area of my room before guest check in? The wine dispenser in room was broken/ empty. Room service was barely edible and took over an hour for vegetarian pasta. Hilltop pool service was non existent on Sunday. instead you were advised to order from boon cafe and theyd bring it, that took 90mins. it was so bad all the people who ordered at the pool, me included were comped. Two women stormed out of the pool area after waiting for 90mins only to have food they said was inedible. Hot tub was filthy. Two guests at the adult pool had their own speakers blasting out their own music along with the music being played by the hotel. it was awful. when I asked that one form of music be played they said theyd ask the guests with the speakers but couldnt promise Nothing extra in your room for Easter Sunday (chocolate etc), no bottle of wine upon arrival, no welcome drink. for $1.5k a night Id expect a lot better
