Central Bled House

The room was clean and well-equipped. We really liked the bathroom design. The bed was comfortable. There is a restaurant under the rooms which made eating out easy.

The only thing is the water temperature in the shower. We both tried to have a hot shower after being outdoors in the cold, none of us succeeded, it was mildly warm.

Perfect position e nice place to stay

A) Location is perfect. Right in town walking distance to the shops, food and Lake. B) The room is absolutely darling Im decor. Felt like out of a fairytale story with all the wood cabin details. And it was very very clean. C) They have parking in front but its very limited. I got lucky with it being slow season. D) Room was spacious and quiet

A) The bedding was not sufficient. I had a large bed (queen/king), but they literally had two child size comforters folded as if it was were 2 twin beds. Thats it. No top sheet. The one was not big enough to cover my feet while sleeping so I had to use the 2nd one. This was very uncomfortable and kept shifting all night. Needless to say I couldnt sleep all night. I was pretty upset. If I had my spouse with me we it would have been even worse because hes 6 2. We wouldnt have had a blanket to cover us together nor one to cover half his body. B) Pillows are flat. No support. C) Check out is 10:30am vs 11 like most hotels. D) Also, they had a hot water kettle, mugs, spoons, and sugar but no tea or coffee in the room. Not sure if that was on purpose or not. Just thought it strange.

No full length mirror in the room. Also the light in the hallway part of the room is motion sensored and there didn't seem to be any way to keep it on permanently which was annoying as the light in the hallway was better light for doing makeup etc.

Beautiful place and the decor was so individualized with interesting corners. That was much better than big standardised hotels. Rooms are OK size. Very cosy. Location was good enough. Not on Lake but quite near. Their restaurant is good and quite busy.

No lifts. You have to lug your baggage up to second floor.

The room was nicely decorated and had a comforting smell. It also had access to a wide terrace. The House is very close to the lake (less than 5 minutes walking).

My pillow was so uncomfortable! The House has no lift.
