Hotel Mt.Fuji

The location and views were priceless. Fuji-san is absolutely stunning and the lake was lovely and quiet The staff were very polite and helpful and helped us organise a bus to Tokyo. The shuttle is a great idea too as the walk up to the hotel is quite a climb.

The room was very dated and tired with wallpaper peeling in places and in need of a refresh. It's condition is part of its charm but it would definitely benefit from an update. The bathroom was very small with yellow and even black patches in the grout and sealant. There was a child's sticker stuck to the shower head which suggested it hadn't been cleaned. There is an army base nearby and the sound of artillery fire resonates around the lake area from early in the morning and continues all day. Though this is not the hotel's fault and cannot be controlled it would be good to inform guests ahead of time.

There needs to be a little updating in the rooms. Outdated decor and insufficient outlets or charging available

The onsen was amazing. We also had a view on the Mont Fuji from our bedroom. Our room was little old - which makes sense as the hotel celebrated its 60 years anniversary. The hotel staff was so kind that it compensated our stay making it very enjoyable. We highly recommend the hotel.

I personally find the room quite old fashion but at the same time impressed by the fact it has decent USB ports. My fiance was happy with everything.

Facilities are very old like 60s, FM radio beside my bed, not worth it for the price of my stay

The view of Mount Fuji was exceptional youd probably struggle to find a better view in the region. I did not have a breakfast plan but dinner was good a little bit small.

The decor was outdated in our rooms and looked like a Great British 1980s hotel. The bathroom had hairs in it the tiles had mould and the toilet plumbing was sealed atrociously.

Great location with fabulous views to Mt Fuji. Very good and extensive breakfast & diner buffet. Super french a-la-carte restaurant Staff are all very helpful and accommodating.

The facilities and the rather vintage rooms need a brush up to restore former grandeur. Noisy aircon in the room. Price and value for money are not in balance. Shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station is dearly missing.
