Much better value than I'll Poggetto Camping Village near Florence. Got a three room bungalow with a fridge and cooker for 74 euros per isn't. I stayed one extra night.
The bread they deliver in the morning to the cafe if you order it the night before was rock-hard.
Nice complex, historical campsite. Personnel trying to do their best. Good for vacations for locals returning every year, familiar environment. Nice pizzas (electric woven). Nice pools for kids.
The camping was not ready for opening during our stay in June. Still lot to clean, fix, etc. It had a general appearance of being abandoned for some years (effect or COVID restrictions, likely). Pool and laundry facilities were in a particularly poor condition, but also our mobile home had lot of small thing to fix / proper cleaning to be performed. The kid got the fingers trapped under the toilet seat that slided once seated, being rotten. We could easily have been the first user of that unit for the season, looking at the conditions. The only washing machine was out of order, the washing pits seemed abandoned for years. The pool are great for kids, but still to be cleaned. We had to remove lot of spider webs from the slides to let the kid play with it, birds poos in the restrooms, still to be cleaned after the winter, got a splint in the foot in the water, etc. The worst part was the very loud teenagers music all day long, that at some point let us run away, we could barely understand each other talking in the water. We experienced an inconsistent quality of the restaurant. It seems they lacked a professional chef and had to cover with other personnel. Same dish got cooked/presented in very different ways. Some times it was very good, some times it seemed prepared by someone without much experience in the kitchen.. It generally seemed they lacked the personnel to prepare for the opening. The few available stuff tried to do their best, always asking sorry for all the issues. I love camping, also the basic ones, but this one was not relaxing, and definitely not worth the money. They should not have accepted bookings in this conditions.
Relaxing and quite place. One of the best camping for family around Trasimeno lake.
The pool was the only positive thing.
We got there and right away I realised they didnt clean it. Sheets were dirty, floor was dirty, the bin was still full of rubbish, no hot water for three days (and the excuse was always the same: a spider.) The owner was annoyed because I complained (AS IF I DIDNT HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO SO). There was no babysitting whatsoever and the only thing the girl did was dancing on the side of the pool. The first available grocery shop was 5 mins drive away and didnt have much to offer as it was tiny. The second day a pole fell on the ground, as the maintenance generally was extremely poor. All the guests I spoke to were pretty disappointed as things definitely are NOT as described. We had to pay extra for the AC and for some towels. Overall it was awful.
