Lamplighter Inn II

No access so no opinion.

VaCasa manages this property and totally droppped the ball when I made my reservations. They would not accept my card so I went to Table Rock Motel and dealt with a human onsite who processed my card no problem.

No breakfest

Some one in the office never going to of site arrangement like this again.

2nd stay at the same hotel, same room. Worked out well since we experienced the oddity of coded check in.

Location and accessability

The picture showed a "suite" with a double and a twin bed. I was put in Room 109 and it was only a double bed room. I feel that either it is a booking .com error or a misrepresentation by Lamplighter. I didn't get my $$ worth. If I stayed there again, I would have to contact the property directly to make sure I was getting the correct room (suite).

The rooms themselves are decent, cute and clean. But everything other than the rooms take away from the experience. Paid well over $170 to stay here for one night. NO AC, terribly hot all night long. LOUD, terribly loud all night long sounds from the road or people outside. Unable to sleep in regards to the sound levels. i didnt receive the correct information to unlock our door and it took 40 min to get an email to fix it. THE SMELL. there was something dead in the garbage can next to our hotel room and it was terrible. you couldnt smell outside without gagging. and then to our surprise the same smell filled our room as well. we had to leave before going to sleep to air out the room, it was disgusting. i would not recommend this place and will not be staying here again.
