La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Plantation At Southwest 6th Street

It was very clean

I did not like the customer service . When I checked in the lady was very nice and the gentleman when I checked out was nice and the ladies that did the cleanings of the room. The other representatives at the location were very rude.

NOTHING!

As soon as I arrived and checked in I was told by the front desk person that the elevators were out of order well luckily I stayed on the 1st floor so I thought nothing of it but sucks for the rest of the people. Once I arrived at my room the room was okay looking and seemed sort of clean but I arrived pretty tired so I laid down for a few. I went to go grab ice for some drinks I had in the fridge and noticed that the ice machine was not working as well, I told one of the staff she tried to press some buttons but indeed no ice and out of order just like the elevator. I started picking red flag vibes but anyhow I went back to my room. So within a few hours, I had a closed water bottle near the nightstand and as I looked to my right I found a COCKROACH crawling on my water bottle that was closed. I couldn't believe my eyes I can't imagine what else is taking place in this hotel this needs to be addressed. I immediately checked out within hours and went somewhere else NEVER AGAIN and awaiting my refund I could not imagine me sleeping there for the night or the rest of my days of booking.

Stayed there for 4 nights elevator only worked the first night. Room was only cleaned once, Shower curtain was dirty. Breakfast not good. The standards of this hotel has really dropped. As I had stayed on 3 previous occassions. Very disappointing.

They allow well behaved dogs to stay there with their person. I appreciated that they had a pet waste station.

I don’t think it’s the hotel’s issue, but the property is inundated with garbage that most likely came from adjacent properties and lazy people. The immediate area of the LaQuinta property was tidy.
