Great setting for a romantic getaway

The hotel is a charming old manor house. It doesn't offer luxury or all modern facilities, and could do with some updating, but is a lovely setting for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Breakfast is plentiful, and taken on the veranda, overlooking the green gardens, offers a great relaxing start to one's day!

Pillows are quite small. The manor hotel could have much more potential.

I hope they get things right, competent staff and the hotel up and working.

The location was great! The yard and the river were beautiful. I liked that the hotel's dogs came to meet me. Room size and style was great and had beautiful view from the window.

I didn't get the room at 3pm. Staff seems like unskilled, stressed and we had many problems during the stay.

Its a historic mansion. Staff was 5+. Very friendly and helpful.

Since it is a historic and old building you have to give up some modern comfort and/or to make some compromises. But it was not a big deal.
