Our private dock and secluded entry into the lagoon was a blissful and rich experience.

Lake is right there, very quiet, restaurant is good

Service is a little slow

Great location, on the water, with views from the room to the lake (make sure in your reservation). We booked a boat trip of 2.5 hours in the lake which leaves from the deck, very recommended!

We upgraded on site to lake view for the first few nights, this was really worth it compared to the room we had thereafter, really a must if you can spend the money, amazing sunsets

Price difference between lake and garden views doesn't feel right, garden view should be cheaper for what you get The restaurant is the problem area if they really want to become a resort, no flexible service (black or white thinking): for example no way you can have this as a mocktail instead of cocktail, no way we can add chicken... Also they need to update the menu in the off season, sometimes had to order three times before I picked something they actually had available "no tengo" was heard too many times

Great peaceful setting on the lake. Kids loved the hammocks on the jetty and the hot tub! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

breakfast was quite expensive for what you got. I had thought it was included in the room price so was a little disappointed that it wasn't. We had a leak in our room from the air conditioning unit which wasn't very nice. They offered to put us up in another room for the last night but it was a real hassle to move all of our bags.

Cottage smelled a bit damp when we arrived and the staff were quite perfunctory - they didn't show us around at all or explain which keys to use for the patio doors. Sadly the proximity to the road, which is full of huge lorries delivering aggregate for the new railway that is being built close by, meant that there was a constant rumble of traffic noise. Outside chairs were v uncomfortable and one broke because the wood was rotten.

Everything was amazing. The restaurant on-site was perfect. Staff went above and beyond. It was a little bit of a drive from Cancun, but totally worth it. We will be coming back for sure!!
