Simpson Bay Resort & Marina

It seemed that there is no insurance covering for damages to the car while it is parked in its parking lot.

The hotel was very accommodating. The wife and I are 77 years old and the first room assigned was too far for us to walk to the beach. They moved us to the front of the hotel near the beach. Extra room fee was reasonable. Would stay in Phiillpsburg next.

Mexican restaurant was not truly Mexican cuisine.

The staff was great, and the resort was beautiful.

The cleaning staff hung out outside our unit. When I was sitting outside enjoying my book I felt like I was in the staffs conversation.

the first room given to us was moldy and overwhelming cleaning fumes. got switched to another building for $----more. that room was better but water was shut off when we needed to take showers..no warning... also toilet system was shut down the next day.

The resort offered everything we needed, nice room, multiple pool options, beach access, multiple restaurants, very pleasant staff.

Location, Pools, and a very good Breakfast buffet. Poor: Location of the room next to the service elevator. Entry to my room was continually blocked by laundry carts and service personnel taking breaks in the shade provided by the outside stairwell.

Could not use my patio because of the location. Had to leave my room, more than once to quiet the service personnel, and stop a verbal loud argument before a fight was started. This room should be shut down and used as a service lounge away from view.
