The window in our room wasn’t very well insulated and cold wind blew in the room. The bed was right next to the window so it was a bit cold and uncomfortable during the night. I had to use the pillows to block some of the cold from coming in.

I traveled alone and had the King suite, and it was huge! Nice tall ceilings, the bed was very comfortable with so many pillows. The bathroom had a big walk-in shower (with shampoo, conditioner and body wash). The location was fantastic! I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see (with the furtest being 30 min away) it was amazing, you're in the middle of everything. The room was very quiet, it's nice that you can grab some (sparkling) water on your floor, the lounge downstairs is super quiet, nice if you want to read something. The staff was friendly!

It would've been nice if I could connect to any streaming platforms.

Absolutely loved this hotel and its location was perfect. The staff were amazing leading up to visit and during my stay. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Salem

I booked hotel as rooftop bar was a bonus. Unfortunately it was closed for season but all throughout website, Google searches etc it showed it as open. I let staff know right away. That annoyed me. In saying that restaurant downstairs allowed you to take drinks back to our rooms.

Great location. Amazing staff. Cool restaurant, bar in the lobby with great staff there as well. Great food. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!!! Everything was perfect!!

A few things I loved about The Hotel Salem. Location; this hotel is steps away from museums, restaurants, and stores. The rooms!!; splurge into a suite… you won’t regret it! Cleanliness of facilities. They provide coffee and tea every morning. There was a glass water bottle in your room and machines along the hotel corridor that provide still or seltzer water. Though you only have to walk a few meters to any restaurant, there is a restaurant on site that provides great food if you want a night in. But most of all we loved the incredible people who work at the front desk (Zachary, and staff), made our stay an unforgettable one! Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here when we go back to Salem.
