Hotel Monopol Luzern

The location is perfect! Literally across the station. The room's spacious. Staff are so helpful.

On every nights of our stay, we heard party noise, from 12-4 am, so loud that we couldn't sleep well. And it wasn't just road noise, we could hear party music, laughter, cheering etc. We stayed in room 419. Please make the room more soundproof.

Great Hotel - location and staff excellent. However, it was extremely noisy. We stayed 2 nights, and the noise at 2am was terrible - a club nearby (maybe the one on the roof of the hotel). A large group of people made so much noise outside the Hotel for at least 2 hours each night, and we could not sleep whilst this racket was going on. The hotel needs to invest in better guest room windows to keep out the noise.

The hotel is very close to the main station & all the main attractions. The breakfast spread is good.

Would love to have a flat sheet. It was hot with duvet. Breakfast was great with lots of options (bacon, eggs, fruit, pastry’s, meats and cheese, cereal, and yogurt. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely fantastic location. So close to the station and easy walk to chapel bridge. Roof top bar with a brilliant views and food. Spacious rooms and bathrooms.

Nothing not to like

Hotel is in a superb location in the town centre and opposite the station. Large clean room and probably the best hotel breakfasts I've had for many years,

Room a bit noisy due to traffic and worst of all we he had to have COLD showers two out of three mornings due to the inadequate plumbing system. When complaining about this, reception staff said it was "just how it is" and that not every room can have hot water at the same time. It appears you just have to keep waiting and trying again every 30 minutes or so !!!!
