The room and bathroom were fine, large, clean. It was comfortable.
There are no balconies even tho the website says otherwise. When we called downstairs the manager said “well you booked on booking.com.” (So what) they pay to be on booking com. I had sent a note to the hotel to ask if it was possible to have a private balcony (the website says some are shared and some are private). They responded with yes they could accommodate us. Later when I went downstairs he actually pulled up a highlighted Google page for a lesson in “Juliet” balconies, at the ready for when this misunderstanding happens. (It probably wasn’t necessary). I don’t need a lesson. I live in ny and am well aware of what a Juliet balcony is. I prefer to be notified (in advance) of what to expect at a hotel and not surprised to find it is not so. Change your website! And manager. On there behalf they did say they could adjust the price, we said no, that we were just looking for what they offered.
The view was nice Not worth the money
Too expensive
Modern designed rooms. Great location along the water. Easy to walk to things and nice restaurant on site
Cobwebs in corners and on light fixture. To small to worry about but also easy to keep clean.
Great location
A bit noisy with the bar next store There were little ants In our bathroom
Great view. Being next to town, Stella and being next to Playhouse
Had large number of ants in room on counters, bed stands, bathroom sink. Should have been exterminated prior to our arrival. Baby crying for hours. Staff should have heard and made sure baby was being watched and not left in room without parent or sitter.
Location is excellent, right on the Riverwalk. There good restaurants in the hotel and next door. Room was comfortable.
Not a lot of facilities. No place to get more coffee.
Ghost Light Inn is right on the water, it provided a beautiful view every morning watching the sun rise over the river with the Juliette balcony. Along with great views, the centralized location in town allows for easy walking access to venues, restaurants and shopping. They provided a book of local options for all of your stay needs that weren't included on location.
The parking situation was a bit wild when we arrived. There's a public lot in front of the hotel that guests can utilize for $20 a night which is a great price, however, there weren't saved spaces for guests. Thankfully one opened when we arrived so we were able to park quickly and the valet staff were quick and friendly. The second floor of the inn is a very popular restaurant which is great for guests to dine with, however, the music volume carries later into the evening.
This over night trip was a 60th birthday gift for my sister! It was wonderful!!! In addition to the lovely hotel my sister and her husband ate at the restaurant, Stella. It too was exceptional! I highly recommend both and the towns are amazing!
