Ocean view

Great view, and the restaurant was very good. We traveled with our two pugs and the hotel was so accommodating!

We were not told that the room had an adjacent unit, separated by only a very poorly insulated door. we could hear our neighbours as if they were in our suite. Very disappointing.

Staff were excellent; friendly, eager to help, attentive. Food and beverage was outstanding. We did not do any formal dining. We ate at the pub (happy hour drinks and food) and had breakfast. Great little coffee 'clutch'/sandwich shop as well. Older overall build and our room had a little 'wear and tear' but nothing that was left in disrepair. The facility was very clean and grounds, pool area very beautifully maintained. Ample, proximate parking. We had an ocean side room. Our room was typical hotel style, tight bathroom, nice king bed with a balcony and excellent view. Location was great. We did an ocean shore walk which connected into a large park/boardwalk area. Would certainly recommend and consider a future stay if we were in the area.

The location is great. Staff are very friendly.

The indoor pool does not have a roof so in my view, it’s not indoors. Plus the hot tub was covered. An indoor pool/spa is one of the reasons we booked here.

False fire alarm going off at 8am because of a burnt omelette but hey we took an earlier walk on the beach and laughed about it. Our beagle, Elly May, was very happy and approved her stay at the Bayside also
