Los Patios Hostel Medellin

The person on the front desk threaten us with losing our booking money if we didn't give him money, we were denied the entry wen we refused. We felt unsafe and had to find a better hostel.

Great location, safe and very clean hostel. They clean the room every day, offered shower towels + towels for the pool. In this building there is a small gym, heated pool on the rooftop and laundry - while in the other building is where all activities and parties happen. Better to stay in this one and go there whenever you feel like socialising. Quiet at night, comfy beds with curtains.

Lots of activities - so many that its hard to choose which ones to book! The facilities are very nice, rooftop and gym in particular. The area is one of the nicest ones in Medellin!

Quite high price, and the fact that the hostel does not serve breakfast

Well located, good quality stay. Friendly staff, great room, good facilities, plenty to do. Especially great for groups of friends and people who are there to tour during the day and party during the night.

You pay a lot more than some other places, and prices are high for any extras too, including tours and nights out. Relatively easy to overcome by booking your own tours and bringing your own extras. They provided earplugs for good reason if you want to sleep anytime before midnight.

Room had no blind so was lit up the entire night by the hallway lights. However they moved us to a different room but the issue wasnt fixed for whenever was in their next
