HexhamFantastic little farm in a very nice countryside
The host Elizabeth was super friendly and accommodating. It was a lovely little farm perfect for the family to rest and enjoy the animals.
Perfect for a short stay, but slightly isolated if you need to entertain the family for longer than 3 days.
Wonderful place to visit in the spring. Excellent value for money. Elizabeth and the family are super welcoming and if you’re really lucky you might get to bottle feed a lamb!
Lovely relaxed setting. Perfect host who provided va chocolate cake for our arrival & encouraged small grandchildren to join in with feeding milk to new born lambs.
Everything fab and nothing to dislike.
This b and b just did what it said on the tin…. It was a great stay - quiet, beautiful, great breakfast and Elizabeth was knowledgeable and a lovely host.
Nothing - as long as you do your homework it is just fab
A wonderful quiet fam location away from all others, and in a building converted from farm use into very comfortable accommodation. The room was large and well appointed with a good bathroom, and downstairs is a microwave so that we could eat in one night to save going out to find a pub. The breakfast was perfect to our choice with eggs that were like those we had as children, from chickens hand fed in the buildings. We even had Netflix on the TV! Our hostess, Elizabeth, was so charming and helpful that this has been one of the most memorable B & B stays.
Nothing to add !
It was a lovely setting in the countryside
Breakfast was good
The location was nice.
Fire Safety a big concern. No plan in bedroom, a landing emergency light not working, no fire escape signed! A locked door to outside stairs, no key. Toiletries in bathroom for example cotton buds/cotton wool, sitting in water. Dining space not able to accommodate everyone at once for breakfast. Pillows awful.
