The breakfast was good. The bed was very hard.
From the corridor we could hear some kids running
Good and quiet location in Matala. Big swimming pool.
Breakfast with lot of choice but industrial. Room in the annex big and clean but dated.
Lovely hotel. Was clean, spacious and only meters from Matala beach and town. Onsight parking and pool is always a bonus
We were upgraded so room was very good with nice views of the hills. Easy walk into town and Matala beach. Breakfast was good and buffet dinner was reasonable. Enjoyed our day at Red Beach worth the walk. Also remains at Festos, Gortyn and the new museum there.
Paying for wine every night was a pain rather than having a tab. Getting a drink was tough. Waiter was helpful to some people and downright rude to others. Sadly we were in the wrong group.
The hotel is the biggest from the village and is maintained pretty well. Most of the tourists are from Germany. This is a good thing as they could have a constant flow of customers and they have secured an outcome and a dangerous thing as they don't have to fight to provide an excellent service, especially the breakfast as they already know the customer profile and they have the recipe to please them in full. The guy from the reception already offered me a free upgrade for the room so I might be subjective in a way.
breakfast could be better especially the pastry as they were not so fresh
