Ponderosa Lodge

The rooms are in the process of being remodeled. This has improved the vibe of the place. It has a mini fridge and freezer. Having a freezer is not common in hotel rooms. The room was clean and in a good location in the small town.

The walls felt paper thin. I could hear the TV playing in the room next to us. I could hear every time a person went to the bathroom. Because of the remodel, there were two large dumpsters on the property locating in a way that was unappealing.

Mike was a gem! I left my new jacket and he took it upon himself to mail it back to me. We love that this lodge is centrally located and so pet friendly. There is a small grassy area at the back of the building so one does not have to take the pets to the dog park all the time.

Location is really good, right in the town.

I paid almost double than the normal price. It doesn't worth the price.

The place was clean and neat ...... well taken care of.

They were doing room renovations and dumpster was in parking lot taking up lots of space.

The room was nice . It was clean . The location was perfect . I read other reviews about being out dated & bugs ; I did not see any bugs & yes the building is older but I enjoyed my stay .

Renovated room was very nice - Only suggestion would be a sign in second floor rooms asking guests to be courteous to guests in rooms below them. The herd of Elephants that was above my room was very annoying . Beds & Linen were very comfortable A+. Need to update blankets & Bedspreads
