Pool and the staff at Poland the location
Bad behaviour of the reception people + people at the restaurant and the fact that we had no air conditioning with 30 degrees outside. Our room was not ready at 3:30 and we were told that we could share the room for 1 with our son to wait
Nice location and overall ambiance.
Left a package of purchases in the room on checkout which disappeared despite notifying the hotel they were there shortly after. All attempts at an answer were met with a denial and disinterest.
Great location
The pool, and sauna could do with some updating and the changing rooms wasn’t particularly tidy. Fire alarms went off in the morning and on checking out there was no apologies or explanations.
The breakfast was good although there were a lot of comments around the room that it was expensive. Honestly, I think the price is pretty standard nowadays. The room was what you'd expect. We'd booked a four-poster room. It, and the wider hotel, is looking a little tired, but what you'd expect really.
The aircon in our room was awful. I mean, we were grateful there was aircon at all, however, it was positioned inside a wardrobe with metal grills in place of some of the panels. This meant the panels were really cold but not a lot of cold air was making it into the room. Thankfully there was an electric fan in the wardrobe. We spoke with reception and they came and unlocked the doors, which made a HUGE different. It did however show that the metal panels were thick with dust on the inside, and the cupboard itself was full of thick dust. Suggestion would be to change the metal panels in the doors to something else - like louvre slats. We also couldn't open the windows in the bedroom (Room 2) and there were thick cobwebs on the inside of the windows.
Hotel is a older building with nice features. Gym and pool on site Room was clean nice size too. Air conditioning was brilliant as the temperature outside was in the 30s. Fridge in room was good too. Staff were all pleasant and very helpful. Restaurant food in the evening was good. Location was great short walk into town. Really liked that it was dog friendly, there were a few dogs around but none of them were a problem.
Could have had a few more tea and coffee condiments in the room.
Great location, clean and comfortable. Very good pool and spa.
Nothing
The hotel is in a beautiful position and has an impressive frontage.
Our luxury four poster room was above the lounge close to the reception and there was constant loud muzak playing to an empty room that sounded like it was in our room. This even came on at 7.30 AM on the Sunday mornjng
