Featuring a large terrace with spectacular views of Lake Como, Albergo Milano is a stylish hotel in the heart of Varenna. It provides a choice of modern rooms with lake views and self-catering apartments. The Milano Hotel includes a main building and 3 separate properties, all within a 50-yard radius. All rooms feature an LCD TV and a balcony with a full or partial view of the lake. The apartments also include full kitchens. A continental breakfast is served buffet-style each morning and features a selection of sweet and savory items. Breakfast and other meals can be enjoyed out on the terrace while admiring Lake Como. This historic building is in the center of Varenna. Parking is available 320 yards away in Piazza San Giorgio. Guests can catch boats across the lake to get to Bellagio, Griante and Menaggio.

We were greeted by the owner of the hotel and allowed to leave our bags while the room was ready as we arrived early for check-in. We were provided with some local maps and tourist recommendations. Restaurant dinner was lovely and the breakfast had varied options.

Memorable, its a superb place to visit and we stayed at the best hotel in Varenna. The Albergo Milano is the best.

Very unique lodgings. I would stay here again.

The property was roomy, clean, private, and had an amazing view of the lake. The balcony in Casa Rossa was well worth the climb to reach it (4 flights of stairs and no lift). The location was great: a restaurant within, a 5 minute walk to the piazza, a 10 minute walk to the ferry, and a 15 minute walk to the train station.

Great central location to see Lake Como and the various towns.

We enjoyed the location and view from the dining area terrace. We were able to walk to the waterfront and restaurants. Beds were comfy and space was large enough for 2 couples. Would highly recommend!
