BariThe host is very kind and always helpful if there are questions. The breakfast is tasty, plentiful and is every day freshly prepared. It is served in the common room, where one could get coffee and tea at any time of the day. The attached roof garden is beautiful and calming. The hotel room itself is well decorated, very clean and doesnt leave anything to be desired. The location is nice and right in the center of the city the main station as well as the old town is in walkable distance of around 20 minutes.
The WLAN was very slow, even just pictures were loading slowly. I didnt even try to watch a video
Pietro was such a wonderful host. Flirting with him while using Google Translate was one of my favorite parts of my stay in Bari. The house was beautifully decorated with antiques that he had for sale (he also runs an antique store across the street). The rooms were spacious and clean. My air conditioner could have worked a bit better, but if I found the room too warm, my friend and I would take a beer up to the roof garden to cool down. Pietro would make breakfast every morning and spoiled us rotten.
The area is a bit removed from the old city, so we walked a fair bit to get to and from anywhere. Not all of the side walks are flat or wide, so sometimes it was actually safer to walk out on the street, but that is something that Pietro has no control over. My only real issue with the place was our air-conditioning unit. It didn't really work that well, so the room would smell a bit musty, and my clothes would feel a bit damp from time to time. There were a few cracks in the plaster, caused by the construction going on nearby, but you hardly noticed it as the nouse was minimal. The large crane made it very easy to find home....lol.
Everything Pietro met us at the door and it was a wonderful experience from them on. The accommodation was very special beautifully appointed with antique furniture, paintings and nick nacks also a bottle of Presco awaited us. Breakfast was fabulous, rooms clean plenty of amenities. Pietro is a true Italian gentleman and made our stay extra special. I would recommend Bed and Breakfast Oz 100 percent
Nothing
Location, facilities but mostly the welcoming and helpful staff
Nothing all good
Room was modern, very comfortable and sparkling clean. Quiet, and my room overlooked the road. Communal areas characterful and italian, full of pictures and nicnacks. Lovely geranium filled roof terrace. Breakfast, yummy. Coffee and tea available to help yourself 24/7. Pietro the host! welcoming, helpful and lovely.
Nothing. But it's a good 20 minute walk to the old town and 15 minutes to the station.
The visit to Pietro's place was wonderful! His home is magical, filled with art, and you can feel that Pietro puts his whole heart into it. It is of the highest standard, with the owner considering even the smallest details. The place is very clean, quiet, close to the city center, and has a wonderful, unique atmosphere. The beds are comfortable, and the room includes everything you need (fridge, hairdryer, iron, etc.). Every morning, we were greeted by a rich breakfast with fresh bread. Pietro was very helpful and nice; it was a pleasure to be his guests!
It was quiet and comfortable with a friendly host. He left us bottles of mineral water and a small bottle of free prosecco in the room.
There were not many places to eat nearby.
house with story, nice breakfast
Our fave stay in Italy. Pietro is a gem. Although he doesnt speak English, we managed with translator and he couldnt do enough. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Room extremely clean and the common rooms were full of beautiful pieces. Really felt like we were in someones home. Lift to the upper floor. Will be back.
